SALINAS, Calif. — October 29, 2026. Salinas residents have two remaining Fridays to visit the seasonal Salinas Valley Health Certified Farmers’ Market before its 2026 season ends. The next market is scheduled for Friday, October 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a final scheduled date on November 6.

Where to find the market

The market is held at Salinas Valley Health Memorial Hospital, 450 E. Romie Lane, Salinas, CA 93901, near the corner of East Romie Lane and Wilgart Way. The City of Salinas event calendar says that free parking is available next to the market. Monterey-Salinas Transit passengers can use Route 43 via the Salinas Transit Center and get off near East Romie Lane and Los Palos.

The city lists the market as a free community event. It operates on Fridays during the May–November season, rain or shine, with November 6 designated as the season’s final day.

How EBT Market Match works

The market accepts EBT, WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits. Its Market Match program is particularly relevant to shoppers using CalFresh EBT: according to the city’s listing, the program matches each EBT dollar spent with an additional dollar for eligible fresh produce, up to $30 in matching funds per day.

That means a shopper who spends $30 from EBT can potentially have $60 of purchasing power for eligible products through the matching program. Shoppers should ask at the market information booth about participation and applicable redemption rules rather than assuming every stall or item has the same benefit eligibility.
