SALINAS, Calif. — Monterey County’s official 2026 Board of Supervisors meeting calendar lists Tuesday, November 3, and Tuesday, November 17 as scheduled meeting dates. The calendar identifies November 10 and November 24 as dates without regular meetings, in connection with Veterans Day and Thanksgiving observances.

The county generally schedules Board meetings for 9 a.m., but residents should confirm each meeting’s time, location, agenda and participation instructions before attending. Special meetings or calendar changes can occur.

Where to find the actual agenda

The county says official agendas, supplemental items and addenda are available from the Clerk of the Board and through its online legislative calendar. The meeting calendar is a schedule, not a list of decisions already made; agenda postings and approved minutes are the appropriate sources for specific proposals and outcomes.

Residents of unincorporated communities such as Prunedale and Carmel Valley can use these records to follow county-level matters that affect their neighborhoods, including land use, public services and spending. The presence of a meeting on the calendar does not mean any particular local proposal will be discussed.

Related county decisions to follow

California58 is tracking several separate Board of Supervisors agenda items, including proposed 2027 trash and recycling rates in unincorporated communities, possible November 3 housing design criteria and the proposed countywide language-services contracts. Those topic-specific reports distinguish agenda proposals from final decisions.
